Bliss Jet (White Plains) has deferred the planned launch of transatlantic operations until January 2017. The virtual carrier said in a press release that unlike previous plans where it was to have connected White Plains, New York with London Biggin Hill, it will now operate between New York La Guardia and London Stansted.
“Earlier this year, Bliss Jet announced plans for this groundbreaking service for discerning travellers seeking a unique, private-jet experience superior to any scheduled premium cabin service, yet far more cost-effective than bespoke private jet charter," Bliss Jet chief executive David Rimmer said. "While initial feedback was extremely positive, many customers requested a more convenient New York area airport.
“Operating at the historic, uncongested Marine Air Terminal at LaGuardia will make travel more efficient for our clients who schedule their lives in minutes, not hours.”
The weekly return flights operate on-board Gulfstream Aerospace G450 and G550 business jets chartered from Jet Access Aviation (JXA, West Palm Beach International) and White Cloud Charter (White Plains).
