Wheels Up (WUP, Teterboro) will partner with Talon Air (TFF, Farmingdale) to offer a scheduled per-seat shuttle service between White Plains (New York) and Fort Lauderdale Executive (Florida), reports AIN Online. The subscription-based carrier will take advantage of Talon's Hawker 4000s for the weekender service.
The route will join Wheels Up's other shuttle services which launched last summer. These include New York Teterboro and Boston to Nantucket, Boston – Teterboro, Teterboro – Washington D.C., Los Angeles Van Nuys – San Francisco, and Van Nuys – Las Vegas.
Besides its shuttle services, Wheels Up operates a membership passenger model using a fleet of Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350is and Cessna 560 XL/XLSs sourced from Gama Charters (Bridgeport Igor Sikorsky Memorial).
