Surf Air Europe (London City) has announced it has partnered Swiss business aviation deal facilitators STM Aircraft to offer limited winter-only flights between London City and the Alpine resort town of St. Moritz.
The 2x weekly flights, which will operate from mid-January through to April 1, will operate on-board eight-seater executive jets. COO Peter Evans said in a statement to ch-aviation that Surf Air is also we are working with partners in the Engadin Valley to develop regular service for the 2017/8 ski season.
The Surf Air (URF, Santa Monica) unit also operates from London City to Zurich with plans to add a 2x weekly Sion service from early February. Flights to Cannes Mandelieu and Ibiza are expected to resume later this summer season although service to Cannes is still operating albeit on an ad-hoc basis for one of the airline's members.
