Rubystar Airways (RSB, Minsk National) has added its first Boeing widebody freighter following the delivery of B747-400(BCF) EW-511TQ (msn 24975) late last month.
According to Skyliner Aviation, the 27-year-old freighter, formerly N223BA with ACG Air Cargo Germany, was handed over to the Belarus cargo carrier on April 27. The aircraft has since been positioned to Baku Heydar Aliev International where it is currently in service for Silk Way West Airlines (7L, Baku Heydar Aliev International) on a charter basis. The Azeri carrier currently uses a variety of carriers for its charter requirements including Aerotranscargo, TCA - The Cargo Airlines, and Sky Gates Airlines.
Rubystar also operates five Il-76TDs and a handful of Antonov Design Bureau An-12 turboprops primarily on chartered cargo flights.
