OneJet (Pittsburgh International) will start deploying two Do328-300JETs operated by its newly acquired subsidiary Ultimate Jetcharters (Akron Regional) effective June 11, ch-aviation schedule analysis has revealed.
Both regional jets will operate the Hartford Bradley-Pittsburgh International-Indianapolis International route, with one of them based out of Indianapolis and the other out of Hartford Bradley. The 10x weekly service will double OneJet's frequency on the route.
OneJet is a virtual carrier focusing on providing point-to-point scheduled services targeted at business passengers from secondary cities in the eastern part of the United States. The carrier's flights are currently operated by Contour Aviation (LF, Smyrna) using Hawker 400, E135 and E145 equipment.
OneJet announced on May 1 that it would be taking over Ultimate Jetcharters for an undisclosed sum. It is the first acquisition in the company's history.
According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Ultimate Jetcharters currently operates ten Do328-300s, which makes it the world's second-largest operator of the type, behind Sun-Air (EZ, Billund) with sixteen units.
