Viking Airlines (Stockholm Arlanda) has wet-leased a B737-800 to Sunwing Airlines (WG/Toronto Pearson) for the winter season. It is reportedly considering setting up a separate subsidiary in the UK allowing it to expand its extensive UK charter operations to non-EU countries. It will operate weekly seasonal B737-300/-800 services on behalf of Scandjet (Gothenburg Landvetter) from Gothenburg Landvetter, Malmö, Norrköping, Örnsköldsvik, Oslo Gardermoen and Stockholm Arlanda to Split this summer season.
