Mat Airways (Skopje) has launched scheduled charter operations with its single ex-MAT Macedonian Airlines B737-500 that is currently operated by Aviogenex (JJ/Belgrade) on behalf of the start-up. It operates various charter services from Belgrade to the vacation destinations on behalf of parent tour operator Kon Tiki Travel and from Skopje to Barcelona, Prague, Rome Fiumicino and Zurich. It is reportedly also planning to start scheduled flights linking Ohrid and Belgrade. Kon Tiki Travel has also announced its interest in taking over charter operator Aviogenex altogether.
