Manx2 (Isle of Man) has given up its Belfast City-Galway and Isle of Man-Belfast Intl routes by the end of October. It continues to operate up to four daily Isle of Man-Belfast City services. After a fatal landing accident of a Metroliner III operated by Flightline (Spain) (FTL/Barcelona) on a Belfast City-Cork service, it has also terminated its services on the route and cooperation with the Spanish carrier on March 13. Manx2 has replaced the Metroliner III by a Jetstream 31 wet-leased from Links Air (LNQ/Humberside). Manx2 has launched twice weekly service between Isle of Man and Anglesey on June 3 using FLM Aviation (Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel) Do228-200s.
