Wisdom Airways (Chiang Mai) has no immediate plans to add larger aircraft to its fleet but may eventually acquire ATR - Avions de Transport Régional turboprops in the longterm, chief executive Picharn Kwangchuchai has told Smart Aviation APAC.
He did not specify any timeframes.
The Thai virtual carrier operated regular passenger flights from its Chiang Mai base to Pai, Mae Hong Son, Nan Nakhon and Mae Sot until April 29 of this year since when it has temporarily suspended operations are onboard two Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208Bs chartered from production carrier, R.P.S. System (GBJ, Bangkok Don Mueang).
Earlier this year, Thai civil aviation records show RPS underwent recertification albeit under the trade name Global Jet.
