Dalian Airlines (CCD, Dalian) has launched operations on December 31 with two B737-800s dry-leased from parent Air China (CA, Beijing Capital). The new carrier is a joint venture between Air China which owns a 80% stake and local business Dalian Baoshui Zhengtong. It currently operates daily services from Dalian to Beijing Capital, Shenzhen and via Taiyuan to Sanya. It has plans to add more domestic destinations and international flights to Japan and South Korea at a later stage.
