Rayyan Air (Islamabad Benazir Bhutto International) will charter a B777 from PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (PK, Islamabad International) as part of an agreement signed this past weekend.
In a statement to local media, Rayyan Air said it would use the makeshift B777 freighter to run flights between Islamabad International and Urumqi in China for four months.
The ch-aviation fleets module shows PIA operates six B777-200ERs, two B777-200LRs, and four B777-300ERs.
Rayyan Air is a certificated Pakistani carrier licensed to operate charter flights covering passengers and cargo. While it does not currently operate any own in-house aircraft, it has, in the past, employed one B747-200FSCD, AP-BKI (msn 21592), which has now been scrapped.
