Neos Air (NO, Milan Malpensa) took delivery of its first two B737-8s on March 31. EI-RZA (msn 62869) and EI-RZB (msn 43920) are both owned by ICBC Financial Leasing. They were built in April and June 2019 and should have been delivered later that year were it not for the global grounding of the B737 MAX in March 2019. As such, they were in storage at Moses Lake for 18 months before delivery to Europe.
The Italian leisure carrier has yet to load any schedules for the type, which features 186 seats in an all-economy class.
Neos also operates six B737-800s and six B787-9s. From bases at Milan Malpensa, Verona, and Bologna, it operates daily scheduled and charter flights throughout Italy, the Mediterranean, North Africa, West and East Africa, the Caribbean, the Indian Ocean islands, and China.
