HOP! (France) (A5, Paris CDG) has reportedly been chosen as the new brand for the Air France (AF, Paris CDG) regional carriers Brit Air (Morlaix) and Régional (Nantes) that are expected to be merged with Airlinair (Paris Orly) later this year. The new carrier will be based at Paris Orly and Air France hopes to decrease its costs for regional services by 15% as part of the initative. Additional details are to be made public by the end of January. Airlinair currently operates three ATR 42-300s, 13 ATR 42-500s, two ATR 72-200s and six ATR 72-500s and also operates some routes under its own brand name. Brit Air operates 12 CRJ100s, 15 CRJ700s and 13 CRJ1000s while Régional has 23 E145s, 16 E170s and 10 E190s.
