Shanghai Airlines (FM, Shanghai Hongqiao) has ended B757-200 operations with the type's last commercial flight operated on Saturday, March 21. Social media sources state B-2875 (msn 33966) operated the flight from Harbin to Shanghai Pudong following which all three remaining aircraft were put into storage.
As it now stands, the only remaining operators of the passenger version of the B757 in China are China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou) and Xiamen Airlines (MF, Xiamen). The type does, however, remain relatively active in the cargo sector with B757 freighters in service with Air China Cargo (CA, Beijing Capital), China Cargo Airlines (CK, Shanghai Hongqiao), and SF Airlines (O3, Shenzhen).
