Azman Air (AZM, Kano) will shortly take delivery of its maiden B737-500 Skyliner Aviation has reported. Formerly UR-VVQ (msn 29235) with Ukraine's Aerosvit Airlines (Kyiv Boryspil), the twinjet will join the Nigerian carrier's other aircraft - a pair of ex-bmibaby (Nottingham East Midlands) B737-300s - in service on flights between Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Maiduguri, and Yola locally.
Earlier this year, president Dr. Abdulmunaf Yinus said his airline would acquire three additional aircraft ahead of its planned expansion into the regional West African market.
