Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAS, Teterboro) is set to acquire Avjet (Burbank), a global jet charter and management company based in Los Angeles, for an undisclosed amount.
As part of the deal, Avjet’s current chairman and CEO, Marc Foulkrod, and company President Global Sales, Andrew Bradley, will continue to own and operate the Avjet sales and brokerage division under the name "Avjet Global Sales".
"This acquisition meets our plan to continue to expand our global sales, acquisition, and brokerage services while allowing Jet Aviation to continue Avjet's tradition of excellence in aircraft management and charter services," Foulkrod said.
Avjet's acquisition will also boost Jet Aviation's aircraft management and charter portfolio with the addition of aircraft located in Teterboro, NJ; Van Nuys, CA; Zurich in Switzerland; Hong Kong International; and Dubai International in the United Arab Emirates.
Closure of the acquisition is subject to certain governmental approvals, including relevant airport authorities.
