Ukraine Air Alliance (UKL, Kyiv Boryspil) has been granted a Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) as well as exemption authority from the US Department of Transportation (DOT). As such, the Ukrainian cargo specialist is now able to operate scheduled and charter cargo flights between Ukraine and the United States with added points beyond.
In its application last year, UAA said it expected to operate an An-12 on up to eight monthly ad-hoc flights between the two countries.
Wholly-owned by one Nataliya Bondarenko, UAA operates eight An-12s on cargo flights throughout Europe as well as to Asia and Africa.
