Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country) has announced it has taken delivery of its first GVI-G650 delivered direct from Gulfstream Aerospace (GLF, Savannah International). The Ohio-based business charter specialist said in a statement N650FX (msn 6268) arrived on Friday, October 6, with a second due later this week.
Flexjet is an existing Gulfstream operator with seven other aircraft currently in service. It has a total order for fifty aircraft, including seven G450s delivered previously. In early 2018, eight Gulfstream G500 aircraft – the successor to the Gulfstream G450 – will also join its fleet. Flexjet is the type's North American launch customer.
