Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country) has begun building its own private terminal at Farnborough, its first such facility outside the United States.
The new 2,098-square-metre building with direct ramp access is scheduled to open in early 2026. It will be entirely separate from Farnborough's existing passenger facilities and will house Flexjet's operations room, pilot amenities, and a cabin crew training centre.
"This is an exciting milestone moment for Flexjet as construction begins on this development, a first for fractional ownership in Europe", said Chairman Kenn Ricci.
Flexjet currently runs five private terminals in the United States - at Dallas Love Field, Naples Municipal, Van Nuys, Teterboro, and White Plains airports - and plans to have ten in total by the end of 2025.
