Buta Airways (Baku Heydar Aliev International) has completed its transition to an all-E190 fleet following the retirement of its last remaining E170.

According to Skyliner Aviation, 4K-AZ52 (msn 17000002) has been sold to a third-party lessor and, as part of its disposal, was ferried from Baku Heydar Aliev International to Marana via each of Prague Václav Havel, Reykjavik Keflavik, Goose Bay, Bangor International, and Nashville International over the course of August 17 to 21.

As it stands, the low-fare unit of AZAL Azerbaijan Airlines now operates a fleet of six EMB-190s on scheduled flights connecting Azerbaijan with destinations in Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Iran, and Georgia. A further two EMB-190s are due to deliver later this year.
