MJets (Thailand) (MIN, Bangkok Don Mueang) has added a Bombardier Aerospace Global 5000 and Global Express XRS to its fleet, according to ch-aviation research.

The 5000, registered as T7-258 (msn 9154), transferred to the Thai business jet operator on May 29, 2024, while the XRS, T7-852 (msn 9203), went across on June 5. It is the first time MJets has operated either type.

Previous to that, T7-258 was operating in the United States as N3333U for the Joint Development Bank, while T7-852 was formerly on the US register as N401VP, placed with an unknown operator. US Federal Aviation Administration records show the nominal owner was a special-purpose vehicle called Kenmore Crew Leasing Inc.

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, MJets operates two Cessna Citation Bravos, a single Citation X, two Gulfstream G550s, and one Gulfstream GV, in addition to the two recent Bombardier arrivals.

Coinciding with the induction of both aircraft, MJets also recently acquired a shareholding in Singapore-based private jet and general aviation company Wings Over Asia. It paid SGD17 million Singaporean dollars (USD12.6 million) for the minority stake and said that the strong demand for private jet travel in Southeast Asia warranted the investment.
