Falcon Aviation Services San Marino has expanded its San Marino-registered fleet by adding its first Bombardier Business Aircraft Global Express and Global Express XRS, according to ch-aviation research. At the same time, the company retired its sole Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, a G450.
Global Express T7-ALEX3 (msn 9059) is 24.4 years old, while the Global Express XRS, T7-VSR (msn 9306), is 16.3 years old. Both were previously operated by Alex Jets San Marino, which, as a result, no longer flies any Global Express XRS jets.
Meanwhile, Falcon Aviation Services San Marino has stopped operating Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft after retiring its only G450. T7-TLOL (msn 4306), a 10.2-year-old aircraft previously registered as T7-SKK, is now operated by Türkiye's Swan Aviation (Istanbul Atatürk). Its final flight under its previous Sammarinese registration was a test flight around Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH on August 13 following which it was then re-registered and operated its first flight to Istanbul Atatürk under its current registration.
In addition to the two Bombardier jets, Falcon Aviation Services also has an Embraer Executive Jets Legacy 650 and one Lineage 1000 in its San Marino-registered fleet.
Alex Jets' fleet in San Marino now consists of two Global 5000s and two Global Expresses. Alongside the recent fleet changes, a second Global Express, the 23.8-year-old T7-RSTIS (msn 9083), has also left and is now privately operated. As recently reported by ch-aviation, Alex Jets San Marino has dropped one Challenger 605 and one Falcon 2000 from its fleet, no longer operating either of the types.
As for Swan Aviation, the Turkish operator's fleet now includes one Challenger 605, two Challenger 650s, one Citation Latitude, one Citation Ultra, one Citation XLS, one Falcon 2000, one G450, one G650, one Global 5000, and one Hawker 800XPi.
