Avcon Jet (AOJ, Vienna) has taken delivery of its first Global 6500 business jet on its AOC in Austria, as revealed by ch-aviation research.
The brand-new OE-LOT (msn 60131) was handed over directly from Bombardier Business Aircraft on September 4, 2024. It completed its delivery flight from Montréal Trudeau to Vienna already bearing its Austrian registration. On September 7, it made its first flight under Avcon Jet's 'AOJ' code, flying to Budapest. According to a company press release, the induction of this Global 6500 is part of the phased integration of 10 new aircraft across its various AOCs that has taken place this summer.
With this latest addition, the Austrian aircraft management and charter company now has a fleet of 40 aircraft registered in Austria. These include one Challenger 300, two Challenger 350s, one Challenger 3500, one Challenger 604, one Challenger 850, one Citation Jet 4, one Citation Jet 4 Gen2, one Citation M2, two Citation X, three Citation XLS+, one Falcon 2000, one Falcon 7X, one Falcon 900EX, one G200, four G550s, one G650, two Global 5000s, four Global 6000s, one Global 6500, three Global Express XRSs, one GVII-G500, two Learjet 75s, two Legacy 600s, one Praetor 500 and one Praetor 600. Additionally, the company operates a second GVII-G500, which is currently registered in Czechia.
For its part, Avcon Jet Malta (VCJ, Malta International) oversees 11 aircraft on its Maltese AOC, including one Citation Sovereign+, two Citation XLS, one Falcon 2000LX, one G650, one G650ER, one Global 5000, three Global 6000s, and one Pilatus PC-24.
Finally Avcon Jet San Marino (VAJ, Rimini) manages 15 jets in San Marino, including one B737-700(BBJ), one Challenger 601-3A, two Challenger 604s, one Challenger 650, three G200s, three Global 5000s, one Global 5500, one Global Express XRS, one Hawker 800XP, and one HondaJet Elite S.
