Avcon Jet (AOJ, Vienna) added its first Citation M2 Gen2 in late 2024, ch-aviation research has revealed. The aircraft has joined a previous-generation Citation M2 in the Austrian operator's fleet.
OE-FPJ (msn 525-1180) was delivered directly from the production site of Textron Aviation at Wichita Eisenhower to Vienna between December 27 and 29, 2024, with stops at Springfield Westfield Barnes Regional, Bangor International, Goose Bay, Narsarsuaq, and Inverness. The company confirmed to ch-aviation that the jet will be configured for five passengers and available for charter on a floating base.
Avcon Jet manages a diverse fleet of 40 aircraft registered in Austria. In 2024 alone, the Vienna-based operator added two new types to the fleet, the Challenger 3500 and the Learjet 31A, while resuming operations with the Challenger 300, the Challenger 850, the Global 6500, and the G200. Neither of the group's two other carriers, Avcon Jet Malta and Avcon Jet San Marino, manages any Citation M2 aircraft.
