Dokia Air (DKA, Bucharest Baneasa) has added its first aircraft, a Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000LXS, and obtained its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) in Romania.
The new-build YR-NDV (msn 412) was ferried from Paris Le Bourget to Bucharest Baneasa on September 30, 2024. It has since been operating test flights in Romania and was made available for charters once the airline certified on October 9. The aircraft is configured for up to 10 passengers.
Dokia Air told ch-aviation that the aircraft will remain based out of Baneasa. The operator does not plan to add any aircraft to its fleet this year, but wants to grow in the future.
The start-up's chief executive is Florin Susano. Dokia Air is ultimately controlled by Romanian energy sector entrepreneur George Brăiloiu. The company was established in 2021, according to the local business register.
The Falcon 2000LXS is the first Dassault Aviation aircraft registered in Romania.
