US fractional, jet card and charter operator Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country) has officially launched in Europe, with Flexjet (United Kingdom) (Birmingham, GB) welcoming its first of three Nextant 400XTi light jets at an event in Farnborough this week.
Flexjet established its UK operations last year through its acquisition of FlairJet (United Kingdom) (Oxford Kidlington), and will use Flairjet's UK Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) to operate point-to-point services within Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Aircraft may also be made available on a charter basis through select European broker partners.
In a press release on FlairJet's website, Kenn Ricci, Flexjet Ltd Chairman, said that he is looking forward to expanding their dedicated European fleet. The company will introduce large-cabin aircraft before the end of the year.
Speaking with AIN Online, CEO of Flairjet Ray Jones said that alongside the Flexjet dedicated fleet, his company will continue to offer charter management services to its customers.
The Nextant 400XTi is a modified Beechjet Hawker 400A/XP, remanufactured by Nextant Aerospace.
