Maine Aviation (MAT, Portland International Jetport) has retired its sole Challenger 604 from its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research has shown.

N988CV (msn 5549) was removed from Maine Aviation's certificate in October and is no longer listed as a US FAA Part 135-certified aircraft.

The 22.2-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft was initially registered in the United States, before moving to Canada in 2011, where it operated for seven years. The aircraft joined Maine Aviation's fleet in June 2018, being based in South Florida and configured to accommodate up to 10 passengers under the now-former operator.

Following this retirement, Maine Aviation now operates a fleet of eight aircraft, including one BAe-125-1000A, two BAe-125-1000Bs, one Challenger 800 (CRJ100), one Challenger 850, two Falcon 900Bs, and one Falcon 900.

Specialising in private jet charters, aircraft management, acquisitions and sales, and maintenance services, Maine Aviation also offers fixed-base operations (FBO) services at Portland International Jetport.
