The government of Côte d'Ivoire/République de Côte d'Ivoire has retired its sole ACJ319-100, as revealed by ch-aviation research.
TU-VAS (msn 2192) was last active under the 'IVY' code on July 3, 2023, flying from Abidjan to Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH, before being placed in the care of AMAC Aerospace, a company that offers aircraft completions, refurbishment, maintenance, and engineering services.
Between November 30 and December 1, 2024, the ACJ319 was ferried to Tucson International via Shannon and Detroit Metropolitan, operating under the 'OMD' code of ferry specialist Nomadic Aviation Group. At 20.6 years old, the aircraft was initially delivered to SCM Aruba directly from Airbus Corporate Jets, serving with the Ivorian government since 2014.
At the same time the ACJ319-100 was stored, Côte d'Ivoire acquired an ACJ320-200N as its direct replacement. Additionally, the government operates three Gulfstream Aerospace jets for VIP uplift - a G450, a G550, and a GIV-SP.
