NetJets Transportes Aéreos (NJE, Lisbon) has taken delivery of a first Global 5500, namely CS-GLM (msn 60146) on December 19, 2024, as revealed by ch-aviation research.
The aircraft was ferried directly from Montréal Trudeau to Cascais.
The Global 5500 joins other Global aircraft in the fleet of NetJets Transportes Aéreos, including two Global 5000s, eight Global 6000s, and four Global 6500s. The fractional ownership specialist also operates thirteen Challenger 350s, five Challenger 650s, thirty Citation Latitude, sixteen Citation XLSs, a Citation XLS+, ten Falcon 2000EX EASy, thirteen Phenom 300s, and fifteen Phenom 300Es.
NetJets Transportes Aéreos is part of NetJets, a company owned by Berkshire Hathaway. The United-States based division, NetJets Aviation, operates thirteen Global 5500s within the company's Part 135-certified fleet, while the group's other divisions, Executive Jet Management, Executive Jet Management Europe, and NetJets (United Kingdom), do not currently operate any unit of this type.
