RR Jets (Hyderabad Begumpet), trading as RR Jets, has added a first executive jet to the fleet, a Legacy 600, ch-aviation research reveals.
The 17.6-year-old aircraft, VT-VIK (msn 14501004), is configured for up to 13 passengers. It was delivered to Hyderabad Begumpet, where is now based, from Battle Creek between March 31 and April 4, 2025, with stops at Bangor International, Reykjavik Keflavik, Sofia, Dubai World Central, and Delhi International, while still registered as N473KW. The jet was first active as VT-VIK on April 12 with two roundtrips between Hyderabad Begumpet and Vijayawada.
Previously operated under the Part 135 certificate of United States-based Clay Lacy Aviation since 2021, it remained active until early January 2025. Clay Lacy's charter fleet continues to include another Legacy 600.
RR Jets has held an active non-scheduled operator's permit (NSOP) since 2022 and began charter services with a King Air B200GT in November of that year. The newly added Legacy 600 joins the turboprop aircraft in the operator's fleet.
The company has a minimum utilisation agreement with Rithwik Projects Private Limited, an integrated construction and infrastructure company.
