Air Costa (Vijayawada) has resumed operations following a day-long suspension on Thursday, August 4. In a statement, the Indian domestic carrier said it had managed to resolve an undisclosed issue with its lessor, GECAS, leading to the resumption of flights on Friday, August 5.

"We have also taken necessary measures so that such sudden suspension shall not happen in future," airline CEO, Vivek Choudhary, said in a statement.

Air Costa operates three E190s on scheduled flights to nine cites across southern as well as northwestern India.
