FAI Rent-A-Jet (IFA, Nuremberg) says it will deploy two Learjet 60s to Algiers as part of a one-year contract to provide passenger and medevac services in Algeria. The two aircraft and their operating crews will set up base in Algiers by year-end.
FAI already operates similar contracts in other African countries with aircraft based in Sudan, South Sudan, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, and Mali.
The German operator’s dedicated air ambulance fleet currently comprises six Learjet 60s, two Learjet 55s, and three Challenger 604s. It recently replaced its last remaining Learjet 35A following the arrival of its eleventh model 65, D-CFAG (msn 60-281).
