Cal Jet by Elite (San Diego McClellan Palomar) resumed scheduled operations on March 1, 2018, following a two-week suspension of its only scheduled route from San Diego McClellan Palomar to Las Vegas Harry Reid, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows.
The route was suspended on February 17 following a period of multiple cancellations and delays in early February due to "crew and aircraft scheduling issues", The San Diego Union Tribune has reported quoting the airline's statement.
According to the carrier's reservation system, the flights are currently planned as 9x weekly with double-daily services on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, and one flight per day on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
Cal Jet is the sole scheduled operator at Carlsbad, predominantly a general aviation facility located less than 50 kilometres north of San Diego.
The virtual carrier launched the service on September 28, 2017. The route is operated with a CRJ700 aircraft chartered from the parent airline, Elite Airways (MNU, Portland International Jetport).
