The US Department of Transportation (DOT) revoked the commuter air carrier authorisation of Menagerie Enterprises doing business as Monarch Air (Dallas Addison) due to the airline's dormancy.
The carrier terminated all scheduled operations on November 7, 2017. The DOT previously suspended Air Monarch's authorisation on August 5, 2018. The carrier never sought to have the authorisation restored.
Monarch Air, a Dallas-based flight school turned passenger and business charter specialist briefly offered members-only scheduled flights between Texas airports under the RISE (United States of America) virtual brand. According to the company's website, its charter fleet includes Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 200 and 350 turboprops, Israel Aerospace Industries Westwind I and II, Dassault Falcon 50, Gulfstream G200, and Falcon 2000 jets. The FAA registry also shows that the firm owns four Cessna 172s.
