Legend Airlines (Romania) (LZ, Bucharest Henri Coanda) has obtained its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) - RO-077 - allowing it to launch commercial operations with a single A340-300.
The start-up's only aircraft, YR-LRC (msn 844), remains parked at Amman Queen Alia airport, the ch-aviation fleets module shows. It is a 15.3-year-old aircraft formerly operated by Finnair and Air Belgium. It is the only A340 registered in Romania.
Legend Airlines plans to deploy the jet on ACMI/charter operations globally, although it has so far been tight-lipped about its exact business plans.
