ZilAir (SYZ, Mahé) has placed an order with Costruzioni Aeronautiche TECNAM (Capua) for one P2012 Traveller aircraft, and is in further talks of extending the purchase to a second aircraft in the following year.
According to the Italian aircraft manufacturer, the firm ordered aircraft is due to deliver in July 2019 with service entry expected to take place later that year.
"The Tecnam P2012 Traveller is the perfect aeroplane to help our business grow and enables us to meet the Seychelles' tourism sector's demand for affordable and reliable air access," said Francis W. Savy, Zil Air's Executive Director.
Zil Air provides aerial limo services in the Seychelles and operates a Partenavia P.68C (now Vulcanair P68), four Airbus Eurocopter EC130Bs, and one Airbus Eurocopter EC145 helicopter.
