Maersk Air Cargo (DJ, Billund) has retired its last remaining corporate jet, Gulfstream Aerospace G450 OY-APM (msn 4305), ch-aviation research has revealed.
The 10.4-year-old aircraft was ferried from Copenhagen Kastrup to Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH on February 25, 2024, for pre-transfer maintenance. It later operated a test flight under its Danish registration on August 26 before being re-registered to Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country) as N485FX on August 29. It has yet to be ferried out of Basel.
The aviation unit of shipping giant A.P. Moller - Maersk earlier this year retired its other corporate jet, a G600. As it stands, its fleet now comprises exclusively widebody freighter aircraft, namely seventeen B767s in various variants and one B777-200F.
