Ryan Samples is the launch customer for the new Textron Aviation Cessna Citation Jet 4 Gen3 business jet, unveiled at the National Business Aviation Association - Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) in Las Vegas. Samples has signed a purchase agreement for one jet, with delivery expected in 2026.
Samples is the founder and chief executive of fintech company BankOnIT and is also a pilot. According to the latest available US FAA data, BankOnIT manages a 7.8-year-old Citation Jet 4 under Part 91, N4S (msn 525C-0235). Prior to this, the company managed a Citation Jet 3 under the same registration.
The Citation Jet 4 Gen3, designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation, completed its maiden flight in early October at Wichita Eisenhower. Alongside it, Textron Aviation also revealed the Citation Jet 3 Gen3 and Citation M2 Gen3 models, both expected to enter service in 2027. However, no launch customers for these have yet been disclosed.
