Pentastar Aviation (Pontiac Oakland County International) retired the sole GVII-G500 from its Part 135-certified fleet in November 2024, as reported by ch-aviation research.
N500CK (msn 72061) is a 3.8-year-old Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft and is currently not listed as Part 135-certified. The ultra-long-range jet was configured to accommodate up to 16 passengers with Pentastar Aviation.
Following the retirement of the GVII-G500 type, Pentastar Aviation continues to operate a sister-type G550 under its Part 135 certificate, alongside a Challenger 300, a Citation Excel, a Citation Jet 3, three G280s, a GIV, and a GIV-SP. The company also retired its only Learjet 45XR earlier this year.
In addition to private jet charter flights, Pentastar Aviation provides aircraft management and maintenance services, running fixed-base operations (FBO) at Pontiac Oakland County International.
