Lakeshore Express (Chicago Midway) is looking to raise funds to help resume operations, suspended in April of last year. The carrier says that while it has secured new investors to help return it to service, it does not as yet have sufficient funds to do so. As such, it has turned to crowdfunding setting a target of USD500,000.
This summer, Lakeshore hopes to resume year-round Pontiac Oakland County International-Chicago Midway flights alongside a seasonal Chicago Midway-Pellston service.
Originally, the virtual carrier had used a Saab 340B chartered from Pentastar Aviation (Pontiac Oakland County International) to ply its routes.
