AstonJet (Malta) (Malta International) has taken delivery of its first Citation M2 and is preparing to add two Citation Latitudes, ch-aviation research reveals. Meanwhile, the company's French division is planning to launch operations with Embraer Executive Jets following the upcoming addition of a Phenom 100.
Citation M2 9H-COB (msn 525-0937), an 8.4-year-old aircraft, was first active on February 19 flying from Charleston International to Orlando International. It was delivered to Paris Le Bourget between March 22 and 24, with stops at Bangor International, Montréal Trudeau, Goose Bay, Nuuk, Reykjavik Domestic, and Wick. The jet was previously operated privately in the United States as N45RM.
The aircraft is the third operated by AstonJet's Maltese unit, joining a Global 7500, which was recently added, and a Falcon 7X.
The operator said on its website it planned to add to its fleet two Citation Latitudes, including one to be registered as 9H-SFJ (msn 680A-0099). It operated as F-HSFJ under the company's French certificate until March 30, 2025, when it flew from Paris Le Bourget and Oxford Kidlington. The 7.6-year-old aircraft, configured for up to eight passengers, has yet to enter service as 9H-SFJ. The second Citation Latitude is expected to be registered as 9H-J4K, although the identity of the jet and induction timeline remain undisclosed.
Meanwhile, AstonJet is also preparing to add to its fleet the first Embraer aircraft, namely a Phenom 100. F-HLRZ (msn 50000165), a 14.8-year-old jet configured for four passengers, was last active on November 16, 2024, flying between Béziers and Mönchengladbach. It will not be available for charter, AstonJet said on its website.
The aircraft, previously operated by SD Aviation, was up for sale along with another unit of the type, as Chief Executive Officer Sébastien Dubreuil told ch-aviation in late 2024. SD Aviation continues to operate Embraer aircraft, including a Phenom 300 and a Phenom 300E, alongside two Citation Mustangs, two Citation M2s, and a Diamond DA-62.
As of April 1, the French AOC of AstonJet included five Citation Mustangs and two Citation Latitudes.
