Lakeshore Express (Chicago Midway) will launch four times weekly Saab 340B service from Pontiac Oakland County International near Detroit to Chicago Midway from June 7. This will be the first scheduled air service from Pontiac with flights being operated by Pentastar Aviation (Pontiac Oakland County International) for Lakeshore as public charters. Lakeshore Express will use private terminals at both airports and already does so on a similar service linking Chicago Midway with Pellston in Northern Michigan.
