Livingston Air (Milan Malpensa) has suspended its Alghero to Rome Fiumicino flights with effect from June 6. The suspension comes as the Italian Council of State prepares to hear the carrier's appeal against the Sardinian authorities' decision to revoke the airline's rights to the route in early May. The hearing is set for June 17.
In other Livingston related news, the Italian charter specialist has now signed a cooperation agreement with PAS Professional Aviation Solutions in which the German firm will takeover the Italian carrier's marketing and sales of aircraft capacity in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
"The cooperation with Livingston gives us exclusive access to larger, more efficient narrow-body aircraft capacity which we can use in the German-speaking markets for our partners in the tourism industry as well as in the ad-hoc, group and incentive travel sectors," PAS CEO, Birte Püschel-Kipke, said in a statement.
Under the terms of the deal, this winter, PAS will proffer to the market three out of Livingston's six A320s in a 180-seat configuration while also marketing the carrier's two Falcon 2000/2000DX private jets.
