VECA Airlines (San Salvador International) is set to change its name to Vuela Airlines (San Salvador International) prior to its planned launch of scheduled operations later this year. According to sources, the first of three A319-100s, N319VA (cn 2273), formerly with China Southern Airlines (CZ, Guangzhou), was seen in Shenyang Taoxian International sporting the start-up's full livery and Vuela titles ahead of its ferry flight to San Salvador International via Goodyear.
Though the airline has yet to confirm its official launch itinerary, it is believed services will include flights from San Salvador Int'l to Guatemala City and San José Juan Santamaría, Costa Rica.
