Punto Azul (Malabo) will exit the scheduled services market on April 19 airline sources have informed ch-aviation. Despite the development, the carrier will continue to operate charter flights for the oil and petroleum industry through West and Central Africa.
The Equatoguinean operator currently serves Bata locally and Accra, Douala, and Yaoundé Nsimalen regionally using a pair of E145s one of which will be returned to South Africa's NAC Charter (NTN, Johannesburg Lanseria) on April 19.
