Barrier Air (Auckland International) has concluded operations using Vulcanair Aircraft following the withdrawal from service of its last remaining active Vulcanair/Partenavia P68.
According to 3rd Level, ZK-PLA (msn 86) was the last remaining aircraft of the type in commercial service not only for Barrier Air, but in New Zealand as a whole.
As it stands, Barrier Air's fleet now constitutes one BN-2 and one Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208B used to operate scheduled and charter flights to/from Great Barrier Island, Auckland International, North Shore, Tauranga, Kaitaia, and Whitianga.
