Tiriac Air (TIH, Bucharest Henri Coanda) retired its only Bombardier Global 6000 at the end of June 2024 and transferred the aircraft to Austria's Avcon Jet (AOJ, Vienna), ch-aviation research has revealed.
YR-TIF (msn 9723) was last seen operated by the Romanian business aviation specialist on June 30, flying from Bucharest Henri Coanda to Madrid Barajas and then to Vienna. It was re-registered as OE-IIT the day afterwards and flew for the first time from Vienna to Bucharest and then Amsterdam Schiphol on July 6.
Following the retirement of the Global 6000, Tiriac Air continues to operate one G200, one Global 5000, and one Phenom 300E.
Avcon Jet already operated three other Global 6000s, as well as three Global 5000s and one Global Express XRS from the Global family. Its Bombardier Business Aircraft fleet on the Austrian AOC also includes one Challenger 300, two Challenger 350s, one Challenger 3500, and one Challenger 604.
