Elit'Avia San Marino (EAO, Rimini) has been granted an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) from the San Marino Civil Aviation Authority. In a press release, the corporate jet charter specialist said that the addition of the San Marino AOC would benefit clients who wanted to utilise non-EASA aircraft.
"The San Marino CAA does an excellent job of balancing rigorous safety standards with the transactional needs of the industry," says Puja Mahajan, Elit'Avia CEO. "Working with highly-qualified and experienced inspectors accelerates the registration process while maintaining robust operational accountability. Thus, with our San Marino AOC, we are able to place a greater variety of aircraft into European commercial service quickly and efficiently."
Elit'Avia is based in Ljubljana, Slovenia and additionally holds an AOC in Malta. In an interview with Raconteur's Aviation for Business, UK Sales Director Wynton Faure said that its diverse AOC's provide advantages to its clients. "Maltese registration offers a tax-friendly environment for owners and Slovenia offers operational cost-savings," Faure said.
Elit'Avia manages a fleet of twenty-one corporate jets which include the following types: GVI-G650, Gulfstream V and Gulfstream IV; Bombardier Globals (6000 and XRS); Bombardier Challengers (605, 604, 300); Dassault Falcon 7X, Falcon 50EX, and 2000S; and a Hawker 800.
